POLY-NORM ADR-BTA shaft coupling with brake drum

Applications of our torsionally flexible, fail-safe shaft coupling with brake drum (drum brake):
• This POLY-NORM® ADR-BTA combination of coupling and brake is used wherever holding brakes are required, e. g. on conveyor belts and generators. Applications with minor specifications can be combined with POLY-NORM GJL hubs.
Operation of fail-safe shaft coupling:
• The POLY-NORM shaft coupling consists of two hubs half the cams of which are each inserted in the tailor-made free spaces of the other hub.
• This compact design of the shaft coupling allows to connect the shafts with a particularly short shaft distance dimension. The elastomer positioned between the cams transmits the torques while compensating for any kind of displacement.

Variation of components of fail-safe shaft coupling:
• High adaptability with low variance through an optimally differentiated construction kit system: The elements within one size of POLY-NORM® shaft coupling can easily be combined with each other. This allows to realize various shaft distances with the same basic component.
