• Please note with combinations of shaft couplings with brake disk the high circumferential speed that may result. We recommend dynamic balancing with high-speed drives from 30 m/s. The brake disk is positioned on the driven side where the highest mass moment of inertia is effective.
• The torsionally flexible shaft coupling POLY-NORM® ADR-SB is a shaft coupling combined with a brake disk. The POLY-NORM type ADR-SB is intended for disk brakes as a holding brake.
• With this shaft coupling elastomer ring, brake disk and driving flange can be replaced when installed. Radial disassembly is possible.
• The torsionally flexible shaft coupling POLY-NORM® ADR-BTA is a shaft coupling provided with a brake drum based on the plant. The POLY-NORM type ADR-BTA is intended as a holding brake.
• With combinations of shaft coupling with brake drum the high circumferential speed that may result. With high-speed drives KTR recommends dynamic balancing from 30m/s. The brake drum is positioned on the driven side where the highest mass moment of inertia is effective.
• The torsionally flexible, fail-safe shaft coupling POLY-NORM ADR is a compact three-part shaft coupling for torsional vibration-damping power transmission.
• The three-part POLY-NORM ADR shaft coupling allows for eliminating positive-locking fit without shifting the driving or driven side axially. The elastomer ring (spider) can be replaced when installed.
• The torsionally flexible, fail-safe shaft coupling POLY-NORM AR is a compact two-part shaft coupling for torsional vibration-damping power transmission.
• The hubs made of cast iron identical in design make the standard version POLY-NORM AR specifically low-priced.
For mounting the shaft coupling the hubs are simply pushed onto the shafts and fastened axially by means of setscrews.
